Speaking to reporters following 21 hours of high-stakes discussions, Vance revealed that the United States had clearly outlined both its non-negotiable demands and areas where it is prepared to show flexibility.
“We made very clear what our red lines are,” he said, emphasizing that the U.S. position remains anchored on preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons capability. “We leave here with a very simple proposal—a method of understanding that is our final and best offer.”

He disclosed that U.S. negotiators remained in near-constant touch with senior national security officials, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and CENTCOM leadership under Admiral Cooper, reflecting the gravity and complexity of the discussions.
