Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, Oba Phillip Adegboyega Famodun, has passed away.
The deceased, who was the embattled Owa of Igbajo, reportedly died after a brief illness.
Taking to his social media page, Jamiu Olawumi, a member of the APC and former aide to ex-Governor Oyetola, wrote “Shocking,” alongside a photo of the monarch.
An Osogbo-based radio station, ‘Redio Afinju’, also shared the news.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the family and party.
