ABUJA- Renowned Nollywood actor, Anayo Onyekwere, better known as Kanayo O. Kanayo, took to social media to celebrate his daughter, Valerie, as she marked her 25th birthday.
In his heartfelt post, the actor shared his wishes for Valerie’s future, stating that by the time she reaches 27, he hopes she will have achieved one of three significant milestones: getting married, completing her PhD, or becoming fully independent by moving out of his house.
Kanayo, on his Instagram page, expressed his pride and admiration for his daughter while outlining these aspirations for her future.
He wrote, “My dear daughter, Uloaku (Bank/House of Wealth), happy 25th birthday.”
“From little Valerie to a future Madam Uloaku. As I told you this morning while praying for you, today should be a day for reflection—recognizing what to keep, what to discard, and seeing life for what it truly is, not just its surface.”
The actor also shared memories of how Valerie would often voice her concerns about his frequent absences due to his busy acting career. He reassured her that this was a normal part of the profession and thanked God for his continued success and demand in the industry.
“You’ve always told me, ‘You’re always travelling and never at home.’ Uloaku, great actors are always on the move because they are consistently hired. I’m grateful for my sustained relevance. Please try and be patient with me.”
Kanayo concluded by emphasizing that he expects Valerie to meet one of these major life goals before she turns 27.
“Make sure that by 2027, you are either married, working on your PhD, or living independently. Simpliciter. May God bless you, Uloaku.”
