YENAGOA (PRECISE POST) – Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri has sent special greetings to the people of the state even as he has reflected on the two signature projects- The iconic 9-story Secretariat Complex and the 25,000 seater ultra-modern Stadium, all in Yenagoa, the State Capital.
Diri dislosed this when he took to his official X account on Monday.
In his message, the Governor expressed his satisfaction with the progress made on two major infrastructure projects in Yenagoa, the state capital, during his recent bilateral visit to Angola. The commencement of work on the iconic 9-story Secretariat Complex and the state-of-the-art 25,000-seater stadium marks a milestone in the administration’s commitment to transforming Bayelsa into a thriving mega city.
Governor Diri emphasized that these projects are central to the state’s vision of development and prosperity. He thanked the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Moses Teibowei, and his counterpart in Sports Development, Daniel Igali, for their dedication and leadership in driving these initiatives forward.
In closing, the Governor urged all Bayelsans to continue supporting the administration in its efforts to enhance the state’s growth, prosperity, and general welfare.
