Enugu (Precise Post) – Governor Peter Mbah has outlined his administration’s ambitious agenda for economic growth, security, and sustainable development, earning commendation from legal professionals and participants at the ongoing Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Enugu,

Addressing a gathering of distinguished legal minds, the governor highlighted the state’s transformation journey over the past two years, underscoring his administration’s bold vision to expand Enugu’s economy from $4.4 billion to $30 billion, eradicate poverty, and position the state as Nigeria’s premier destination for business, tourism, and quality living.
Governor Mbah who disclosed this on Monday when he took to his verified X account said:
“We envision an Enugu that, within eight years, will be unrecognisable from the one we inherited,” the governor declared.
Central to this transformation, he noted, is the restoration of security and public safety. He credited the deployment of round-the-clock AI surveillance systems, integrated response units, and strong community partnerships for achieving an over 80% reduction in violent crime across the state.
“This stability is the bedrock upon which investment, jobs, and a thriving society can grow,” Mbah stated.
Participants at the conference praised the governor’s strategic leadership, citing the rapid progress made in just two years as a model for other states to emulate.

Governor Mbah reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to reimagining education, enhancing infrastructure, and unlocking the full potential of Enugu’s human capital.

“Our greatest assets remain the head, the hand, and the heart of our people,” he said. “Together, we will keep transforming Enugu into a land of boundless possibilities.”
