….Parents Say They Suspect Foul Play
ABUJA – A student identified as Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo, a 100-level computer science student of Veritas University Abuja identified as Joshua Èjuojo Daniel-Ejigbo has reportedly died while exercising at the campus gymnasium.
It was gathered that the deceased was exercising when he started foaming in the mouth and subsequently slumped around 9pm on Tuesday.
A source told SaharaReporters that the University called his father to inform him about the incident around 11pm on Tuesday.
Dr. Sanni Bil-hissan who spoke on behalf of the University confirmed the incident to SaharaReporters on Wednesday.
However, a human rights lawyer, Mr Deji Adeyanju, who is representing the family told SaharaReporters that the parents of the deceased student suspect foul play and gross negligence.
“The parents of the deceased student suspect foul play and gross negligence,” he said.
