Abuja (Precise Post) – The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed that a gang of Gunmen kidnapped two members of a family in Abuja on Friday.
The assailants stormed a residence at Yangoji village in Kwali Area Council and forcefully took a father and son.
Abdullahi Benda and Jibrin Benda, 23, were whisked away after the early morning home invasion.
The attackers spread out, manning different locations in what looked premeditated.
Some jumped over the fence of the house, broke the door, and dragged the victims outside.
The kidnappers initially attempted to go with the wife but left her after discovering she recently delivered a baby.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command confirmed the incident.
“Efforts are being made by the command to rescue the victims”, ASP Daniel Ndirpaya, Public Relations Officer said.
The Abaji, Bwari and Kwali areas are witnessing rising cases of kidnapping by criminal gangs. (Oxen News)
