Insecurity: Edo Govt buying drones, using technology to secure Edo people – Obaseki

Benin City (Precise Post) – Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has said that his administration is buying drones, installing cameras and deploying to secure Edo people because the security of all Edo citizens is their prime responsibility.

Obaseki gave the hint while receiving Muslim faithfuls after the successful completion of fast.

According to the Edo governor, “ starts with the individual and in Edo State, I believe that is what we have started. We would continue to work to improve security, which is local as no one can come to your neighborhood, places of worship without someone noticing.”

Obaseki who took to twitter to disclose this said:

“While receiving Muslim faithfuls, I disclosed that my administration is deploying to deal with in the state. To help our course residents should assist the government with relevant information that will protect the lives and property of Edo people.

To further improve our security network, we are building a Command and Control Centre where people can lodge reports and reach the government directly with information on what is going on across the state.

We are buying drones, installing cameras and using to secure Edo people because the security of all Edo citizens is our prime responsibility.
