Insecurity: Kaduna Govt Commends Military for Deploying Troops Along Kaduna-Abuja Expressway (Photos)

Kaduna (Precise Post) – Kaduna State government has commended the Nigerian Army for deploying military to complement security patrols on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

Thr governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and his Deputy, Dr Hadiza gave the commendation while welcoming a detachment of the Nigerian Army Women Corps deployed in the state.

The Governor and the Deputy Governor assured them of the continued support of the Kaduna State Government as they work for security in the state.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 1 Division, Major-General US Mohammed acknowledged the support Kduna State Government provides to the military in its internal security operations and thanked Malam Nasir elrufai and Dr. Hadiza for personally coming to receive the troops.

The state government disclosed this in a statement released via it’s official twitter handle which reads in full:

Malam Nasir elrufai and Dr. Hadiza are welcoming a detachment of the Nigerian Army Women Corps that has been deployed to complement security patrols on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.

Major-General US Mohammed, GOC 1 Division, has acknowledged the support KDSG provides to the military in its internal security operations. He thanked Malam Nasir elrufai and Dr Hadiza for personally coming to receive the troops.

The Governor and the Deputy Governor have expressed gratitude to the military for deploying the troops and assured them of the continued support of the Kaduna State Government as they work for security in the state.

Recall that the military deployment is coming barely 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari sacked four longest serving Service Chiefs and appointed new ones.

Precise Post recalls that the Kaduna-Abuja road has been impassable due to the high rate of kidnapping by Suspected Boko Haram members to the extent that many now resort to use of train along that axis.
