The institute described Kamal as a visionary technocrat whose tenure at NCAM was marked by innovation, creativity, promotion of modern farm inputs and mechanised solutions aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and food security.
”His leadership ushered in purposeful reforms, research-driven inventions, and institutional relevance that repositioned NCAM as a critical driver of national development,” he said
He added that the Institute recalled his unwavering support for Public Relations practice and practitioners, as NCAM under his watch maintained a cordial and professional relationship with the NIPR.
”He recognised the strategic role of effective communication in public sector governance and institutional growth.
”His inclusive leadership style and appreciation for stakeholder engagement endeared him to many across professional divides.
”On behalf of the Governing Council, Fellows, and Members of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and the Board, Management and Staff of NCAM.
”We also condole the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU); and the immediate family of the deceased and the entire Ilorin Emirate,” the statement read. (NAN)
