Abuja (Precise Post) – Former President Goodluck Jonathan has arrived Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, for the 15th Annual Sumposium of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA).
Jonathan who announced his arrival via his Facebook page said he hopes that his keynote speech will set the tone for a fruitful engagement as the symposium explores ways of improving international observation.

The former President also thanked the Government of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, officials of the Nigerian Embassy and EISA for the warm reception accorded him upon his arrival.
The statement reads in full:
In Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, for the 15th Annual Sumposium of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA).
I thank the Government of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, officials of the Nigerian Embassy and EISA for a warm welcome and hope that my keynote speech will set the tone for a fruitful engagement as the symposium explores ways of improving international observation.
