ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on emerging as the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Sunday, signed by Levinus Nwabughiogu, Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, said Kalu described Tinubu’s overwhelming victory at the APC presidential primary as a reflection of the confidence and trust party members across the country have in his leadership.
The Deputy Speaker, who served as the APC Collation and Returning Officer for the presidential primary in Abia State, also appreciated party faithful in the state for what he described as their massive support for the President.
“I was not surprised that Mr. President secured the ticket by a landslide. He is massively loved by our party members because of his courage, vision, and the reforms he has initiated to reposition Nigeria,” Kalu stated.
He commended the President for what he called bold reforms aimed at stabilizing the economy, addressing insecurity, and renewing critical infrastructure under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance and youth empowerment has further strengthened his popularity among Nigerians.
“President Tinubu has proven to be a unifier and a statesman. Under his leadership, the APC remains strong, united, and focused on delivering democratic dividends to all Nigerians,” he added.
Kalu also expressed confidence that the unity displayed during the APC primary would translate into electoral success for the ruling party in the 2027 general elections.
“I have no doubt that Nigerians will vote massively to return President Tinubu for a second term to consolidate on the gains of his first tenure and complete the work of rebuilding our great nation,” he said.
