Abuja (Precise Post) – Political analyst, Mr Babajide Otitoju has reacted to the claim by the federal government that no money was paid for the release of the kidnapped Kankara Schoolboys, saying he is not so naive as to expect them to tell him all the negotiation story.

He however commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Bello Masari of Katsina State for ensuring the release of the abducted 343 Kankara School boys kidnapped from their school in Katsina state.

Babajide who recalled that he had challenged the duo to do whatever they can to bring the school boys back, said how they did it is not his business, adding that he is also not so naive as to expect them to tell him all the negotiation story.

On the other hand, the former federal lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the 8th Senate, Senator Shehu Sani has informed that payment of ransoms sustains and flourishes the kidnapping industry and non payment of ransom puts the lives of the victims in grave danger.

He therefore warned that we are stuck in between the flame of evil and the sword of infamy.

Precise Post recalls that the Minister of information and Culture, Lai Mohammed had said that no exchange of money was involved in the rescue of the Kankara School boys.
