Killing of 7 Policemen in Zamfara: Slain of Security Agents only Gets Louder Outrage When it Happens in S’ East – Shehu Sani

ZAMFARA – HUMAN rights activist and federal lawmaker that represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the senseless killing of seven (7) Police officers as well as other civilians in Zamfara state, saying that it’s sad that the killing of our security agents only gets a louder outrage when it happens in the south east.

Shehu Sani while condemning the barbaric act, said the atrocities of this criminals must not go unpunished.

The human right crusader who made the call via his X account said:

“The killing of 7 Policemen & other civilians in Zamfara is condemnable. The atrocities of this criminals must not go unpunished. I believe we will triumph over terror. But it’s sad that the killing of our security agents only gets a louder outrage when it happens in the south east.”

Precise Post recalls that armed bandits on Wednesday, 5th June attacked Magarya community under Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The bandits in their large numbers were said to have killed 12 people, including seven mobile police officers and five other residents.

It was reported that the bandits entered the town in there large numbers with very sophisticated weapons, they killed twelve people including seven Policemen deployed to the town,”

Further recall that the bandits in the year 2021 attacked the community and kidnapped the father of the then Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Nasiru Muazu Magarya who was the District Head of the Magarya community.

He later died while in captivity of the bandits after being held for over two months.
