Abuja (Precise Post) – It’s the dream of everyone to get to the peak of his/her career. The reason why Brigadier Maikano Abdullahi now promoted to Major General have every reason to give thanks to God and celebrate with family and friends over the weekend for his promotion.
Speaking with news men during the occasion the president of OSMA (military games) as well as vice president of CISM said that now he’s looking forward to impact more and bring in more opportuned suggestions to promote the soveignity of the country as well as the military games.
“I thank God for taking me to the peak of my career. In any profession you want to reach the peak of your career. I thank all those who helped and contributed to get me promoted to Major General and to my family and lovely wife for what all she has done to ginger me to get to this height.
Now as a Major General, is another power giving to me, what I cannot do as a Brigadier general I would do more now as a Major General. Where I could not enter as a Brigadier I would now as a Major General. I will have more friends, colleagues and opportunities to forge ahead and push my career more forward.
On his plans and activities for OSMA in 2022. The president mentioned so many activities that will be taking place during the course of the year both within and outside Nigeria.
“We have so many activities lined up this year for OSMA. Now as a Major General I will have more say in the organization and I will give more intent with courage and opportunity that will give me more leverage for the soveignity of my country.
We have several activities lined up, amongst them are:
- General Assembly in Sierralonne
-African Football championship (military)
-Boxing Championship in Uganda
-Judo in Algeria and so many others which I wouldn’t mention here. Finally there will be a bilateral football championship between France and Nigeria around August. He concluded’.
