Matawalle Joins Tinubu for Eid Prayers, Calls for Peace and Unity

ABUJA (PRECISE POST) –  Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, on Wednesday joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Dodan Barracks Prayer Ground in Lagos for the Eid-el-Kabir prayers, where they offered prayers for peace, unity, and continued national progress.
Matawalle disclosed this in a statement following the Eid prayers, stressing the importance of sacrifice, togetherness, and national harmony as Muslims across the country celebrate the festival.
According to him, the gathering was an opportunity to pray for Nigeria’s stability and development, while urging citizens to remain guided by the virtues associated with Eid-el-Kabir.
The minister also paid a traditional Sallah homage to President Tinubu and the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, after the prayers.
He further extended his goodwill to Nigerians, wishing them a peaceful, joyous, and blessed Eid celebration.
