According to Fabrizio Romano’s post on Friday, Romano said, “Kylian Mbappé leaves France camp and returns to Madrid due to inflammation in his right ankle.
The severity of the inflammation has not yet been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether the issue will affect Mbappé’s availability for Madrid’s upcoming fixtures.
Mbappé scored a brace in France’s 4-0 thrashing against Ukraine in the World Cup qualifier.
France will continue their training camp without the 26-year-old star, while Real Madrid’s medical team will monitor his progress in the coming days.
Online had reported that Mbappé shrugged off the milestone of scoring 400 career goals, insisting that he has much bigger ambitions in football history.
