For over eleven seasons, hundreds of housemates have walked through the doors of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) house, delivering unforgettable moments, dramatic twists, and watercooler conversations that have kept viewers glued to their screens year after year.
But beneath the glitz and glory lies a less glamorous reality: not every journey ends with confetti and a grand prize. For some housemates, the dream has come crashing down after running afoul of Biggie’s rules.
From physical altercations to repeated violations and acts of misconduct, disqualifications have become some of the most talked-about moments in the show’s history.
TheCable Lifestyle takes a look at the housemates who have been shown the exit door prematurely and the rule breaches that sealed their fate:
1. Kemen (See Gobe, 2017)

Ekemini ‘Kemen’ Ekerette became the first major disqualification in BBNaija history. He was removed from the show for inappropriately touching fellow housemate TBoss while she was asleep.
2. Khloe (Double Wahala, 2018)

Khloe Abiri was disqualified alongside K Brule, her paired partner for the season, after they both accumulated a total of three strikes. Their offenses included offensive word, aggressive behavior and physical confrontations with other housemates.
3. K Brule (Double Wahala, 2018)

Kelvin ‘K Brule’ Brouillette was sent out of the BBNaija house with his partner Khloe for numerous offenses. He once earned a strike for jumping from the first floor and spraining his arm.
4. Tacha (Pepper Dem, 2019)

Natasha ‘Tacha’ Akide was disqualified from the show following a physical altercation with Mercy Eke, which involved pushing and hair-pulling. The incident remains one of the most controversial disqualifications in BBNaija history.
5. Erica (Lockdown, 2020)

Erica was disqualified from the show following multiple breaches of Biggie’s rules, including the use of abusive language, repeated disregard for house rules despite several warnings and face off with colleague Laycon.
6. Beauty (Level Up, 2022)

Beauty Tukura suffered the earliest disqualification in the show’s history after she was sent home just two weeks in. She was disqualified due to the repeated patterns of aggressive behaviour and physical altercations.
7. Faith (Ten Over Ten, 2025)

Faith was asked to leave BBNaija house during the final week of the season following a physical altercation with colleague Sultana during a skincare task rehearsal which left her with a sprained ankle.
8. Nomy (Show Ya Sef, 2026)

Nneoma ‘Nomy’ Chukwu was recently disqualified from the ongoing season for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s rules and instructions.
