The cause of Oyeyemi’s death was not disclosed.
Oyeyemi’s passing comes months after the death of Toluwalope Adegboyega-Alagbe, who played Flora — his on-screen wife in the series. She died in February 2025 from complications resulting from injuries sustained in a road accident.
In 2024, Moses Korede Are, who portrayed Baba Gbenro in the series, also died.
