Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday confirmed 151 fresh cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The NCDC while announcing this via it’s twitter handle said with the newly confirmed cases, total confirmed cases have risen to 59,992 while total discharged patients are now 51,614.
According to the health agency, 1,113 lives have been lost to the novel virus since the index case in February in Nigeria.
It added that the fresh cases were reported from 10 states including the FCT as follows:
Lagos-71; Ogun-26; Kaduna-17; Osun-10 and Oyo-8.
Others are FCT and Rivers-6 each; Plateau-5; Akwa Ibom and
Ekiti-1 each.
