NPFL: Bayelsa United Issues Two-Game Challenge to Bosso to Rescue Season

by Arabella Zikora

Bayelsa United technical adviser, Ladan Bosso has been given a two-game ultimatum to secure his role.

The Yenagoa club are currently sitting in a precarious position on the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table.

The Restoration Boys are rooted in 18th position with 10 points from 10 games.

Bayelsa United were held to a 1-1 draw in their last league game by nine-time champions, Enyimba on Sunday.

Bosso’s fate will now be decided by the club’s next two games against Rivers United and Katsina United.

The club will be away to Rivers United in a South-South derby at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt this weekend.

The former Federation Cup champions will then host Katsina United at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.

Bosso took charge of the team before the start of the current campaign.
