Abuja (Precise Post) – Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has led his Peoples Democratic Party counterparts on a thank you visit to the Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II.
Obaseki who took to his twitter handle to announce the visit tweeted thus:
Today, I led my counterparts on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP on a thank you visit to the Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II.
With me, during the visit were Governor Nyesom Wike; Seyi Makinde of Oyo State; Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto; Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State and chieftains of our party including the PDP Vice National Chairman, South South, Chief Dan Orbih, and the Edo State party Chairman , Dr. Anthony Aziegbemi.
I expressed my profound appreciation to HRM Oba Ewaure II for the warm reception and assured him that my administration will serve the interest of Edo people, who gave me the mandate for a second term as governor.
