In a post shared via Instagram, Obi Cubana expressed his sentiments while posting photos from his trip. He emphasized that despite their success overseas, many Nigerians in the diaspora still long for the comfort and vibrancy of home.
“I’ve met a lot of wealthy Nigerians here in the U.S., and their only prayer is for Nigeria to get better—so they can relocate and enjoy life back home. Nigeria is a beautiful country; there’s truly no place like home,” he wrote.
“At the end of the day, it’s all about family. It was a great evening spent with amazing people… I also learned a lot!”

“It’s shocking… there are people who have been imprisoned or punished simply because their stories didn’t make it to social media. Now someone once accused of preventing a flight from taking off is being celebrated as an aviation ambassador. Make it make sense,” he wrote.
