Oliver Arblaster has revealed he is set to become a father with Martha Elizabeth Wilder, the daughter of Chris Wilder.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has been instrumental in Sheffield United’s push away from the Championship relegation zone this season, shared the personal milestone as his partner announced the pregnancy on social media.
Martha posted a series of photos, including ultrasound images and pictures of her baby bump, alongside the caption “+1” with a white heart emoji, confirming the couple are expecting their first child.
The announcement drew warm reactions, including from Arblaster’s mother, who appeared to hint at the baby’s gender, writing: “He will be the most loved gorgeous boy. I can’t wait to be his Nannie.”
Teammates and friends also congratulated the couple, celebrating the news during a crucial period in Arblaster’s career. On the pitch, the midfielder has made 18 appearances this season after recovering from injury, contributing to Sheffield United’s improved form following a difficult start to the campaign.
