Pauline Tallen Hails Grace Ike As First Female Chairman Of NUJ FCT

ABUJA NIGERIA – Former Minister of Women Affairs, Her Excellency Dame Pauline Tallen on Tuesday congratulated the newly inaugurated chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council, Comrade Grace Ike on her successful election as first female chairman of the council after establishment 43 years ago.

Comrade Grace Ike, who paid a courtesy visit to Dame Tallen’s residence in Abuja was in company of the treasurer, Ms Sandra Udeike.

The former minister while presenting a Christmas souvenir to the chairman of council wished her success and an outstanding performance in moving the council and members forward.

Earlier, briefing the former Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Comrade Ike assured of her team’s determination to take the council to an enviable height by prioritizing welfare of members, promoting the image of the union and appealed for support and guidance.
