PDP Is In Hospital’s ICU, Facing a 50-50 Chance of Survival – Suswam

ABUJA (PRECISE POST)  –   Federal lawmaker that repeesented Benue North-East Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly and former Governor of Benue State,  His Excellency, Senator Gabriel Suswam has said that currently the People Democratic Party (PDP) is in the hospital,  in the ICU, facing a 50-50 chance of survival.

Suswam stated this when he appeared on Arise Television programme on Tuesday while feilding questions ftom Dr. Reuben Abati on the outcome of the party’s stakeholders meeting that held on Monday (yesterday) and whether he foresee the party coming out of the current crisis.

In his reaction, Suswan said “it is incumbent upon the PDP governors to ensure that the party is rescued. Many people are waiting to see the ultimate end of the party. Whether there will be light at the end of the tunnel through the intervention of Sen. Saraki remains to be seen in the coming days. For now, the PDP is in the hospital, currently in the ICU, but it can be saved if the proper medicines are taken.”

Precise Post recalls that PDP Governors (past and present), yesterday held a meeting at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge, and part of the decisions taken was  to chart a way forward.  Also, a seven-man committee, headed by former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki was set up and charged with preparing for a rancour-free NEC meeting scheduled for May 27th and the forthcoming national convention.

Other members of the committee are; HE Dauda Lawal, HE Caleb Muftwang, and HE Peter Mba, governors of Zamfara, Plateau and Enugu States respectively. Other members are Sen. Seriake Dickson, Sen. Ibrahim Dankwambo, and former governor of Abia State, HE, Chief Okezie Ikpeazu
