Benin City (Precise Post) – In fulfilment of his campaign promise to make Edo great again, Governor Godwin Obaseki-led People’s Democratic Party government has trained the first batch of 1,200 people to go from door-to-door across the state to obtain data and information from citizens as well as find out their living conditions and security situation.

These collated data will help the government plan for the Edo people, Obaseki said when he took to his twitter handle account.

“By the time we are through with this exercise, we would be able to plan for Edo people. The local governments and the Ministry of Planning will also be integrated in this project to achieved optimum results,” he stated.

Obaseki therefore expressed confidence that the high-quality training received by the participants will be beneficial to their development as well as the state in general.

The tweets read:

These data that will be collected will help us plan for our people. By the time we are through with this exercise, we would be able to plan for Edo people. The local governments and the Ministry of Planning will also be integrated in this project to achieved optimum results.

I’m confident that the high-quality training received by the participants will be beneficial to their development as well as the state in general.

Precise Post recalls that Obaseki had during his campaign for re-election promised to make Edo great again if he is voted for second term in office.
