“Please Help Us” — Abducted School Principal And Teacher Appeal To Tinubu From Captivity

by Arabella Zikora

Terrorists behind the mass abduction of school teachers and approximately 40 pupils in the Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State have released a new video of the captives.

The recently surfaced footage shows the hostages in a state of visible exhaustion. Amid the deteriorating conditions, a school principal identified as Mrs. Alamu made a direct, emotional plea for immediate government intervention.

Speaking on behalf of the victims, Mrs. Alamu called upon President Bola Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, and all well-meaning Nigerians to secure their safe return.

The principal highlighted the growing danger facing the group, noting that the kidnappers are becoming increasingly impatient. She strongly urged the Oyo State Government to initiate direct negotiations with the assailants to prevent harm and ensure a safe rescue.

‘’President Tinubu, Governor Seyi and every other wellmeaning Nigerians, please help us. You don’t need force. All you have to do is negotiate with them to release us. We are in the cold. We are under the sun, under the rain., The children and the adults as well. Please we are begging. Don’t let them waste our lives. They are getting impatient and frustrated. Please help us. We are begging you in the name of God. Please help us. Don’t leave us here. Don’t forget us in the bush” she said

One of the teachers who was captured with her baby could also be seen pleading with the government for rescue all the victims alive.
