Abuja – Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari has Renewed Hope Agric Empowerment Project for Internally Displaced Persons (REHAEPI) is designed to equip IDPs with essential agricultural skills, resources, and market linkages, empowering them to rebuild their lives and contribute to our society.
Kyari disclosed this in a statement he released on his official X account on Monday.
According to him, the REHAEPI initiative exemplifies our commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @officialABAT Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on inclusivity and providing a beacon of hope for thousands of displaced Nigerians.
REHAEPI is designed to equip IDPs with essential agricultural skills, resources, and market linkages, empowering them to rebuild their lives and contribute to our society. Our nation faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, with many citizens displaced and deprived of their livelihoods. By leveraging agriculture as a lifeline, we can help IDPs regain stability and contribute to national development.
This project highlights our dedication to innovation and collaboration, combining the expertise of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons @OfficialNCFRMI with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security @NGfmafs. Together, we aim to enhance food security, create economic opportunities, and foster community resilience.
