Port Harcourt – Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the demolition of two hotels by Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, saying power must be exercised with restraint and caution no matter who wields it.
Precise Post recalls that Governor Wike who appeared on AIT via Skype to reply to the criticisms that have trailed the demolition of the hotels, said the ‘Executive Order‘ was clear on the consequences of violating the #lockdown order.
However, Fani-Kayode who took to his twitter handle @REALFFK to react to Wike’s justification of action said:
Femi Fani-Kayode@realFFK·Transcorps Hilton, Abuja is the biggest hotel in Nigeria. If someone held a party there against a Covid 19 executive order of @MBuhari and the next day the hotel was demolished we would condemn it. No matter who wields it, power must be exercised with restraint and caution.
