Abuja (Precise Post) – Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Madam Lydia Yilwatda.
In a condolence message signed by Chief Kayode Odunaro – the Media Adviser to Senator Adeola made available to newsmen in Abuja on Monday, Senator Adeola expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Madam Yilwatda’s demise as a significant personal loss to the Yilwatda family and a great loss to Plateau State and the nation at large.
“There is no doubt that the family of Professor Yilwatda lost a devoted matriarch and virtuous woman whose absence will create a vacuum. But more importantly, the nation lost a great woman whose wise counsel would have been invaluable to present and upcoming generations,” Senator Adeola said.
He noted that records show Madam Yilwatda was a respected Christian and community leader who stood firmly beside her late husband, a clergyman. According to him, she lived a fulfilled life marked by numerous accomplishments and positive contributions to society.
Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant the bereaved family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
