ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Atalanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini and winger, Ademola Lookman showed off their awards ahead of La Dea’s Serie A clash with Empoli on Sunday night.
Gasperini was recently named Serie A Manager of the Month, while Lookman was crowned African Footballer of the Year last week.
Atalanta defeated Empoli 3-2 to make the evening more enjoyable.
Lookman scored La Dea’s second goal of the thrilling contest.
The Nigerian has so far netted 11 times and provided five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions for the UEFA Europa League champions this season.
Atalanta have won their last 11 league games.
