ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has said the party will focus on communicating President Bola Tinubu’s achievements and presenting a vision for Nigeria’s future as it begins preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
Yilwatda stated this on Wednesday following the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, describing the development as a significant step towards building a coordinated campaign for Tinubu’s re-election.
In a statement posted on his X handle, the APC chairman said the campaign would bring together the party’s national structures, experienced leaders and members to strengthen mobilisation and ensure effective coordination.
“With the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council of our great ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, our mission is to communicate the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, acknowledge existing challenges and present a compelling vision for Nigeria’s future,” he said.
Yilwatda said the party would adopt unity, discipline and effective mobilisation as key strategies in its engagement with Nigerians ahead of the election.
He added that the APC intended to focus on issues of concern to citizens while making a case for the continuation of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
According to him, the campaign would also seek to strengthen the party’s structures, inspire confidence and earn the trust of Nigerians.
“Together, we will build a campaign that inspires confidence, strengthens our structures and earns the trust of Nigerians,” the APC chairman said.
