ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The lawmaker representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has received his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the constituency ahead of the forthcoming general election.
Gagdi received the nomination form at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja alongside other candidates of the party from across the country, following his emergence as the duly elected APC candidate during the party’s primary election.
Speaking after receiving the form, the federal lawmaker expressed profound appreciation to APC members, stakeholders and the people of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Local Government Areas for the confidence reposed in him.
He described his emergence as the party’s flag bearer as a reflection of the collective will of party members, saying justice prevailed during the primary election.
Gagdi also commended the APC leadership at the ward, local government, state and national levels for conducting what he described as a transparent, peaceful and credible primary election.
He particularly praised the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for providing leadership that ensured a democratic process.
According to him, receiving the INEC nomination form represents a significant milestone in his political journey and reaffirms the mandate freely given to him by APC members.
The lawmaker pledged to continue providing quality representation, protecting the interests of the people of PKK Federal Constituency and working towards promoting peace, unity and sustainable development in the constituency.
As preparations intensify for the general election, Gagdi appealed to constituents for their continued prayers, support and cooperation, expressing confidence that the APC would secure victory at the polls and continue delivering democratic dividends to the people.
