Taraba State Government to rebuild homes affected by windstorm in Takum

Following Tuesday windstorm that destroyed over a hundred homes in Takum, the State governor Dr Agbu Kefas has assured residents of Takum in Takum local government area of the state that the state government will assist to reconstruct their homes.

The SA Media and Digital Communication to the Governor Mr Emmanuel Bello disclosed this on on Thursday following the governor’s visit to the affected area.

Bello disclosed that before his prompt visit to the affected areas, Governor Kefas first despatched a team of state officials to visit the affected areas, and mandated the field workers to take stock of all the damages and proffer immediate ways to handle the disaster and proffer ways to stop any future occurrences.

While taking physical assessment around some of the affected parts of the city, the governor empathize with victims and offer words of encouragement where he reinstated his desire to rebuild the destroyed homes and bring succour to the victims.
