Lagos – An Ebute Meta, Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State on Wednesday remanded a 16-year-old who allegedly stabbed a fellow teenager to death during a cult clash.
The defendant allegedly committed the murder on Oct. 21, at Ijanikin, Lagos.
The prosecutor, Insp. Chinalu Uwadione, said that he stabbed one 14-year-old Abdullahi Wasiu on the chest, killing him on the spot, during a cult clash between Oto Awori Secondary School and Government Secondary School Boys, both in Ijanijikin, Lagos.
The court did not take the defendant’s plea.
Chief Magistrate A.O. Adedayo ordered that he should be kept at the Special Correctional Centre for Boys in Oregon, Lagos.
Adedayo adjourned the case to Dec. 11 for mention. (NAN)
