ABUJA (PRECISE POST) — President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former First Lady Aisha Buhari on her 55th birthday, describing her as “an Amazon” and a principled advocate for women and children.
In a goodwill message marking the milestone signed by President Tinubu himself, released on the X handle of Bayo Onanuga on Monday, the President said he joined family and friends in celebrating the former First Lady, noting that 55 represents a significant chapter in her life of service and advocacy.
Tinubu praised Aisha Buhari’s courage and steadfastness, saying she has never been afraid to stand alone in defence of her values and ideals. He described her as “a woman for all seasons,” commending her resilience and discipline over the years.
The President also highlighted the work of the Aisha Buhari Foundation, through which she has championed the rights of women and children and provided support to vulnerable families across the country.
He acknowledged her role as “a voice for the unheard and the forgotten,” particularly in advancing causes that promote family values and human dignity.
Tinubu thanked the former First Lady for her contributions to national development and prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, and protection for her and her family.
