ABUJA (PRECISE POST) — President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigeria’s Super Eagles following their dominant 4-0 thrashing of the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in Uyo, a crucial win in their race to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The announcement was contained in a statement e-signed by the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga and released on his X handle on Tuesday.
Describing the emphatic victory as a “superlative performance,” the President praised the team’s hunger, passion, and determination, saying the win has reignited the pride of Nigerian football fans across the country.
