Abuja (PRECISE POST) – In a move to reposition Nigeria’s data and development planning agency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named Dr. Abuh Mohammed as the new Director-General of the National Population Commission, NPC.
The scholar, who hails from Egume in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, will now head the federal body responsible for generating credible population figures for national growth.
Dr. Mohammed’s appointment has sparked jubilation in Kogi State, particularly in Dekina LGA where many described it as a proud moment for the entire community. Stakeholders say his emergence reflects years of proven commitment and meritorious service to the nation.
