The period has been marked by several landmark deals, including multiple transfers worth more than £100 million, as England’s top flight clubs have increased their spending power through lucrative broadcast revenues and commercial growth.

Chelsea have been among the biggest spenders during this period, completing some of the league’s most expensive deals.

The Blues signed midfielder Moisés Caicedo from Brighton for a reported £115 million, brought in Enzo Fernández from Benfica for around £106.8 million, and also completed the signing of Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for a reported £117 million.

Liverpool have also featured prominently among the record-breaking spenders, with the club signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle United for a reported £125 million, making him one of the most expensive players in Premier League history.

The Reds also completed another major deal for Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal joined the £100 million club after signing England midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham United for an initial £100 million, with potential add-ons increasing the overall value of the transfer.
