Abuja – The United Nation in Nigeria, in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission, the Embassy of Brazil and @BEinNigeria would celebrate #HumanRights75 anniversary with the Human Rights Film Festival, starting from Dec 5 -9 2023 at the Brazilian Embassy Abuja.
In a statement released on X (formerly twitter), the United Nation Geneva stressed that the film festival aims to advocate and promote the observance of human rights through film screening, invite debate and open dialogue about human rights, and to empower audiences with the knowledge that personal commitment can make a difference in the promotion of human rights.
“One of the main achievements of the Forum was it recognised the intersectionality of indigenous people with disabilities, which had not been contemplated enough.” – @OlgaMontufar of the Global Network of Indigenous Persons with #Disabilities at #BizHumanRights Forum.
