ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has congratulated Biodun Oyebanji on his re-election for a second term as Governor of Ekiti State, describing the victory as a clear endorsement of his leadership and developmental strides.
In a message shared on his X handle on Monday, Uzodimma said Oyebanji’s overwhelming victory at the polls was a reflection of the confidence, trust and appreciation the people of Ekiti State have for his administration and its achievements.
According to the Imo governor, the resounding mandate demonstrated that the electorate recognised and rewarded effective leadership, good governance and impactful service delivery.
He noted that the outcome of the election was not only a triumph for Oyebanji but also a positive sign that Nigeria’s democratic process continues to strengthen as citizens increasingly support leaders who deliver tangible results.
Uzodimma further linked the victory to the growing public confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the success of Oyebanji’s re-election bid reflected the positive impact of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He stated that the reforms and development initiatives being implemented under Tinubu’s administration were contributing to sustainable growth and strengthening public trust across the country.
The governor prayed for greater wisdom, strength and divine guidance for Oyebanji as he begins a second term in office, expressing confidence that the Ekiti governor would continue to serve the people diligently and advance the state’s development agenda.
