ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Barrister Malcolm Omirhobo has insisted that with over N2.2 million kidnapped within a year, over N2.2 trillion paid in ransom and several millions of Nigerians killed through unlawful violence, Prrsident BolaTinubu must rejig the current security architecture of Nigeria, probe the service chiefs and fire the Minister of Defence.
The legal icon stated this on Wednesday when he took to his X account @Malcolminfiniti.
Omirhobo’s outburst is coming barely two days after President Tinubu told anyone who cares to listen that his administration would not probe into the activities of past former security chiefs on how the sucurity vault was managed.
Precise Post recalls that President Tinubu had during his maiden edition of his presidential chat on Monday pointedly told the media team led by Dr Reuben Abati that he would not beam torchlight on what was channelled to security and how the Security chiefs disbursed or utilised it, but insisted that his administration is fighting corruption in so many fronts and ways, including but not limited to policy decisions.
