Media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Social Media, Reno Omokri has given reason why one would not be insulted or threatened despite the extent of his or her criticism of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, unlike other presidential candidates.
According to this self-acclaimed “TableShaker”, the reason is because “confidence is nonviolent.” He added that the supporters of Atiku are confident that #President Atiku will be a reality, God willing!
Reno who gave the reason when he took to his twitter handle @ renoomokri said:
“No matter how much you criticise Waziri Atiku Abubakar, you will never be insulted, or threatened. You can’t say the same for the other major candidates. There is a reason why. Confidence is nonviolent. We are confident #PresidentAtiku will be a reality. God willing”.
Precise Post recalls that in political contestation, supporters of political contestants, at one time or the other, rise and speak in support or defence of their candidates in the face of criticisms. Whether such a defence is a threat or insult may be based on the sides of the divide one belongs to and what meaning one wants to input to it.
