World Cup 2026: Injury Woes Mount for England Ahead of Norway Quarter-Final

by Arabella Zikora
England are likely to be without Marc Guehi when they play Norway in the quarter-final of the 2026 World Cup on Saturday.

Guehi has emerged a serious doubt for the game, having picked up a hamstring strain in the win over Mexico.

The Manchester City defender didn’t take part in the Three Lions’ final training session in Kansas City.

Head coach, Thomas Tuchel, however, remains hopeful that he will be able to start the game.

Guehi was seen walking around the edge of the pitch at their Swope Soccer training base on Thursday, unable to join his teammates on the grass.

The problem is not thought to be serious, but time is running out for Guehi to prove his fitness.
