ABUJA NIGERIA – As part of its policies to alleviate the sufferings of the citizenry, the Federal Government (FG) has announced free train rides for Nigerians for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
According to Minister of of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the announcement on Monday while briefing journalists on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council( FEE), meeting.
According to the Minister, the gesture will last between December 20, 2024 and January 5, 2025.
The free train ride will be available on all active train routes in the country.
