AWKA- Public Complaints Commission (PCC) has called on residents to take advantage of the free of charge services in resolving disputes with their employers at federal, state, local governments and limited companies.
Emmanuel Muoka, Fed Commissioner PCC in Anambra, told the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) in Awka on Saturday that the free services were part of its 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Muoka said that the Federal Government should be appreciated for this commission existence while calling for more funding.
“The many cases we treat here ends with the two parties embracing each other after amicable settlement.
“I know more has to be done for the less privileged seeking for justice in reaching us, this necessitates more funds for more awareness and Nigerians to see that government cares,” he said.
Muoka called on residents to join in their mileage celebration which would be a week long event.
“We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary starting on the 16th of October with a church service at St Francis the Assisi Catholic Church Awka.
“It is a week long event, residents should avail themselves the chance in hearing from us to know how we can help them or their loved ones,” he said.( NAN)
