ABUJA – At a time when the Nigerian senate is meeting the Service Chiefs over spate of kidnapping in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in and the country in general, pastor Reno Omokri has exposed the cause of upsurge in insecurity on one hand, and cause of the current economic hardship on the other.
According to the Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, who took to his X account to spill the beans, the insecurity Nigeria is currently facing is the result of the 600 terrorists that were jailbroken from Kuje prison under President Muhammadu Buhari on July 5, 2022.
Reno also hinted that the “economic challenges” Nigeria is facing are because Buhari borrowed more than all past governments. Adding that, even when nobody would lend him money anymore, he began future selling our crude oil.
He reminded that shortly after the Kuje jail break, even U.S. and UK warned then that the incident would lead to an upsurge in insecurity.
Reno’s statement reads:
The insecurity Nigeria is currently facing is the result of the 600 terrorists that were jailbroken from Kuje prison under Buhari on July 5, 2022. Even the U.S. and UK warned then that the incident would lead to an upsurge in insecurity. And the economic challenges Nigeria is facing are because Buhari borrowed more than all past governments. Then, when nobody would lend him money anymore, he began future selling our crude oil.
Even our foreign reserves were a lie. Buhari has used them as guarantees for his profligate lending and spending. Who did we offend to get that man as a punishment?
Buhari did not just make mistakes. The man himself was a mistake. He literally ruined Nigeria and undid almost every good thing we had achieved since 1999. He was borrowing money in Nigeria’s name to build infrastructure in Niger, where his late father originated from. Paying ransoms to terrorists and bandits and looking the other way while his cronies robbed Nigeria blind.
May Buhari never happen to Nigeria again.
Precise Post recalls that the 10th Senate is currently in a closed-door meeting with the Service Chiefs. The Red chamber had invited the Security Chiefs to explain to them why the insecurity is not abating but increasing despite their promise during their confirmation that in less than six months after assumption of office that the insecurity will be curtailed.
