Abuja – The Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi -Esan has directed that officers on Grade Level 14 and above including those on essential services are to resume work on daily basis with effect from Tuesday, 2nd June, 2020.
A press statement signed by the director, Information, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Olawunmi Ogunmosunle reveals that the Head of Service has directed concerned officers to immediately report to work on daily basis: Monday through Friday from 9am to 2pm.
Yemi-Esan also urged the officers to ensure full compliance with the directives and advice on the prevention of the COVID -19 pandemic. She said the measures include maintenance of physical distancing, regular washing and /or sanitizing of hands and wearing of face masks.
While instructing that officers should limit the number of visitors they receive to the barest minimum and ensure that the visitors comply with safety and health advice/ directives, Dr Yemi- Esan also advised permanent secretaries and chief executive officers to abide with guidelines and advice on preventive measures contained in earlier circulars.
