Abuja (Precise Post) – The death toll arising from COVID-19 in Nigeria has risen to 1,162 as the Centre for Disease Control Thursday confirmed 212 new cases of the novel virus.
Lagos State, the epicentre of the Covid-19 in the country led the infection table with 71 cases followed by Imo and plateau which recorded 26 cases each.
Other states that reported infections according to the report released by NCDC via it’s twitter handle account are;

The report further revealed that the total confirmed cases have risen to 64,728 out of which 60,790 have been discharged from across the the isolation facilities across the country.
